Agent of Evil

This is an awesome new brew from one of my favourite of-the-moment breweries, the Moor Beer Company. A step up from Moor’s standard Black IPA, Agent of Evil is the counterpart to its rebel cousin, Guardian of Peace, and a worthy adversary.

As  the can states, this is a Black IPA celebrating the Dark Side of the Force, living up to its promise with a burst of piney hops and dark, roasted malt on the nose, with a heavy hit of citrus and pine hops, and a dry malt backbone on the palette.

And as a neat nod to Episode 7 of the Start Wars franchise, both beers weigh in at an epic 7% ABV.

Style: Black IPA
ABV: 7%

Appearance:  Opaque black, tan head
Aroma:  Roast coffee, pine, citrus, dry fruit
Taste: Medium body/dry, roasted malt, coffee
